The Pressure on Young Athletes being Exploited Worldwide
For my senior capstone I will be exploring the different ways young athletes are being exploited in different areas of the world. I will dive into the doping scandal in Russia, and the research the different ways athletes were affected.

My interest lies in combating athlete exploitation, a severe human rights and accountability failure. Contracts are full of loopholes, and enforcement is absent. From athletes being overworked and afraid to speak up, I want to learn about this system, especially for elite athletes, and find ways to finally break the stigma around them seeking help.
